Premier concours as-pigeon

Chers participants du Belgian Master et amis colombophiles,

Le premier concours as-pigeon est terminé.
 
Nous avons dû chercher cette semaine pour trouver un moment approprié pour le premier concours as-pigeon.
Les cartes météorologiques de plusieurs stations météo se contredisaient souvent.
Mardi les pigeons ont été enlogés mais après une dernière vérification on a décidé de reporter tout.
Les pigeons ont été mis de nouveau dans leur pigeonniers.
Il s´est avéré une bonne décision, car mercredi la pluie était le trouble-fête majeur en France et en Belgique.
 
Les pigeons ont été enlogés à nouveau mercredi.
Jeudi matin, il y avait initialement un peu de pluie sur l´itinéraire mais Le meilleur temps prédit était là vers 11 heures.
 
Les pigeons ont été lâchés avec un vent fort du sud ouest.
Avec une vitesse de plus de 100 kilomètres par heure, les premiers groupes de pigeons retournaient aux pigeonniers à Nevele.
Les pigeons se ruaient littéralement et par conséquent il y a assez de résultats ex aequo dans les premiers résultats.
En 13 minutes 50% des pigeons participants étaient retournés.
Un bon déroulement.
 
Les gagnants de ce premier concours as-pigeon étaient connus (voir en-dessous).

Eerste asduifrace

Beste deelnemers aan de Belgian Master en sportvrienden,
 
De eerste asduifrace is afgewerkt.
 
Het was deze week wat zoeken om een geschikt moment te vinden voor de eerste asduifrace.
De weerkaarten van meerdere weerstations spraken elkaar dikwijls tegen.
Dinsdag werden de duiven ingekorfd maar na een laatste controle werd beslist om alles uit te stellen.
De duiven werden terug op de hokken geplaatst.
Een juiste beslissing bleek achteraf want op woensdag was de regen vanaf 11 uur de grote spelbreker in Frankrijk en België.
 
De duiven werden woensdagavond opnieuw ingekorfd.
Donderdagmorgen was er eerst regen op de vluchtroute maar het voorspelde mooiere weer vanaf elf uur was op de afspraak.
 
De duiven konden gelost worden met een strakke zuid westen wind.
Met een snelheid van meer dan 100km per uur meldden de eerste groepen duiven zich aan de hokken in Nevele.
De duiven stormden letterlijk binnen met als gevolg, nogal wat ex aequo resultaten in de kop van de uitslag.
In 13 minuten tijd konden 50% van de deelnemende duiven geklokt worden.
Een vlot verloop.
 
De winnaars van deze eerste asduifwedstrijd waren gekend (zie onderaan dit bericht).

Het wordt uitkijken naar een geschikt moment volgende week voor hun tweede opdracht vanuit Clermont.

First ace pigeon race

Dear participants of the Belgian Master and sports friends,
 
The first ace pigeon race has been completed.
 
We had to look hard to find a suitable moment for the first ace pigeon race this week.
The weather maps of several weather stations often contradicted each other.
Tuesday the pigeons were basketed but after a final check we decided to postpone everything.
The pigeons were placed back on the lofts.
This turned out to be a good decision afterwards, because on Wednesday from 11 o´clock the rain was the major spoilsport in France and Belgium.
 
The pigeons were basketed again on Wednesday evening.
Thursday morning there was rain on the flight line, but as predicted the weather improved around 11 o´clock.
 
The pigeons could be released with a tight south west wind.
At a speed of more than 100km per hour, the first groups of pigeons returned to the lofts in Nevele.
The pigeons literally stormed in, resulting in quite a few ex aequo results in the head of the classification.
In 13 minutes time 50% of the participating pigeons had been clocked.
A smooth flight.
